~ Records Status after 6 Months ~

• Mark uses the database to keep track of contacts and potential interview subjects. He enters subject responses into the database.
  
  
• Signey imports tab delimited text from the database into Excel. She has to manipulate the data before she can use it for her stats package because uniform data and subject response formats were not set into the database. At least she doesn't have to type it all in now.
  
  
• Mark and Mike consider the Quickbooks part of the project. Importing the data into Quickbooks has caused her hours of lost time; so, she just does it by hand.
  
  
• Peter keeps his records of his interviews on paper forms because the database forms are difficult to use. Also, some of the fields and reports he needs are missing.
  
  
• Everyone's stress level is rather high. Process inefficiencies are increasing the work load needlessly. Does everyone just "put up with the problems" or can they fix them?
